Aldous Huxley: "The worst enemy of life, freedom and common decencies is total anarchy; their second worst enemy is total efficiency". An English writer and philosopher, Aldous Huxley authored "Brave New World" and his debut novel "Crome Yellow" (1921).

When is Winter

In the Northern Hemisphere, winter begins meteorologically from 1 December to 28 February (or 29 February in a leap year). 

Meteorologists use a fixed three months for each season.

Astronomical winter begins on the 21 December, known as the winter solstice and is the shortest day of they year.

Segue (pronounced "SEG-way", derived from Italian) means a move without interruption from one piece of music or scene to another. In a way a "smooth move".

Word up! was a 1986 single from funk bank Cameo. "Word up" was a colloquialism popular in NYC and other urban areas meaning "You bet".
