Where is Aylesbury? Why is it Newsworthy?

Aylesbury is a town in Buckinghamshire. 

It was the town where David Bowie debuted Ziggy Stardust. 

Its name literally means "church town", with Ayles derived from Welsh eglwys (from Latin ecclesia).
