The ancient Greeks and Romans built heroons, or shrines, dedicated to their heros. The plural of heroon is heroa. The earliest known heroons are from the Bronze Age.

Kolkata
Kolkata, or Calcutta, is nestled on the banks of the Hooghly River, and is the principal commercial town in East India. The port was constructed by the British East India Company.
