India is made up of 28 states and 7 union territories (35 "administrative regions"). Union territories don't have elected governments, they are ruled directly by the federal government. Examples are Andaman and Nicobar, Daman and Diu, Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, Pondicherry.

The Shape of the Earth (and What it has Inside)
The Earth is not a perfect sphere. It is, in fact, an oblate spheroid - a sphere with a bulge around the equator. It is estimated to consist of 32.1% iron , 30% oxygen, 15.1% silicon. Oxygen is present in the atmosphere but also in rocks in the form of oxides. It is useful to ponder related questions. For example, what is the radius of the earth? It is 6,378 km.

A trade association (known as ITSPA) exists for ITSPs in the UK on Buckingham Palace Road outside Victoria Station in London. The ITSPA was formed in 2004 and has an awards ceremony (for 2011 hosted at the BT Tower).
